Refund & Return Policy

We want you out there using your kit, not wrestling with returns. Here's how refunds, returns and order cancellations work.

Returns window

You may return unused, unopened items in their original packaging within 14 days of delivery for a refund. Items must be in resaleable condition.

What we can't take back

  • Opened spice boxes or any consumable items, for food-safety reasons.
  • Items damaged by use, misuse, or weather in the field (for example a shelter destroyed in a storm).
  • Items returned without their original packaging or beyond the 14-day window.

How to return an item

Email us first using the details below with your order number. We'll confirm the return address and next steps. Return shipping is your responsibility unless the item is faulty.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll refund the item price to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days. Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item was faulty.

Faulty or incorrect items

If something arrives faulty, damaged in transit, or not as described, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we'll make it right — repair, replacement or refund — at no cost to you. This is in addition to your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.

Cancelling an order

If your order hasn't shipped yet, contact us and we'll cancel it and refund you in full. Once an order has been dispatched it is treated as a return.
